Hi all,
I've sent this mail to user mailing list, but havent got any response, but we
are in a hurry.
And the problems are also related to our programming project. So I'm trying to
forward this mail to here.......
We are working on a master thesis.
Now we have some problems about OSLP.
After installed the OSLP
1. When we run "#slptool findsrvs service:service-agent", we get some info,
but the ip replied is only loopback (i.e. 127.0.0.1. and we have three NIs,
so we also have 127.0.0.2). Why we cannot get the external ip (i.e.
192.168.2.2, which was configured by webmaster, rather than by DHCP)?
2. When we run the script file "testslpreg" in the package, we can get
something like this
#./testslpreg lidan 1.1.1.4 haha
Registering = lidan://1.1.1.4
Querying = haha
Does this mean that we've done what we want to do? lidan is registered to
reg file?
But we cannot find that info in reg file......
When we run "#slptool findsrvs service:lidan", we get
"lidan://1.1.1.4,65535". It seems slpd saved it in somewhere......
3. Now, we are confused. So, if we do not write the services in the STATIC
reg file, and SA automatically compiled the services in a "dynamic" way,
WHERE can I find the services, does slpd saved it in somewhere?
Thanks a lot for any response!
Best Regards
Patrick & Sha
