We are planning to move to openlp 2.0. Thats the way forward. We can expect a 
new release anytime soon. Id suggest you pick up the latest svn tree and port 
all your patches 
to openslp-2.0 and submit it. It will also be helpful if you can apply your 
changes and run it in your environment for a while. There have been lot of 
changes in openslp since 1.2.x series.
