Social networking sites such as myspace have have done everything
possible to stop the development of "Trackers." Tracker is a little
widget that shows who has viewed your profile. Showing this usually
goes against terms of social networking as myspace's. Since opensocial
has the viewer object, it is very easy to create something like a
tracker. When the viewer comes to the owner (profile where the widget
is place on), it sends a request to the server to store the viewer and
then just display all the viewer objects stored in the server db. I
saw the campfire video and the cto of myspace wasn't really that
happy .. it was as if they had dragged him there with force.. .. i
donno, maybe thats just him normal. So what are you thoughts of this
kind of app?

Thanks
