Hi,

the OpenSocial-API is about providing and interface for applications
to be added into a social network.

It is right now not a tool for connecting different social networks
and their user basis.

The data storage of each application and user-related data is up to
the app developer.

Hope this clarifies your picture of the OpenSocial API.
