For some containers (iGoogle, myAOL, Netvibes) the size of shown widget depends also on the size of the window. So ideal would be completely resizable gadgets (seems only such are acceptable for Netvibes). But it doesn't hurt to have some size standards like for Google AdWords Image Ads https://adwords.google.com/select/imagesamples.html. For Ning the width should be no more that 400px, otherwise it will be ugly with vertical and horizontal scrollbars. Cheers. -- Jevs
