Thank you for replying Rohit. The reason I am building this is to be able to get contextual information about a user based on his name or mail id. The concept is that when I get a mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] whose name is A B I would like to query based on A B or [EMAIL PROTECTED] to show the user in context the details in Orkut and other opensocial sites. Given that I can do the same by going onto the site and entering a name or email id I am wondering why this is not possible from the API
