Has anyone tried setting up shindig locally on their macs running mamp? I created a new host in Mamp Pro, set AllowOverride to All, and downloaded the PHP files into "disk location" directory. Everything should run: PHP is running the required modules. But whenever I try to run their test gadget page, I get a 404 (generated by index.php: i confirmed that).
