I want to use Dreamweaver to create an OpenSocial application that uses a database backend. Here are my questions: Is it possible to create an openSocial application in Dreamweaver? How can I include/import the OpenSocial API javascripts to create the application? How are completed OpenSocial applications made publicly available?
The Open Social API tutorials don't seem to explain the overall architecture very well, but basically I need to host the database and application server-side logic on my server. I also want to create the OpenSocial application and fully test it privately before actually making it publicly available. The campside developer video that google provided shows several large companies doing what I need to accomplish (database and other application logic on separate server and OpenSocial application publicly available), but they never go into the details of how.
