Can someone at Google pls weigh in here... Per the 0.7 release notes:
"Support for global and instance-scoped application data has been removed from the API. Global application data can be implemented using feeds (that can be prefetched for performance) and other web standards. Instance-scoped application data can be implemented on top of user-scoped data by including the module ID of the application in the key." 1) What is the new preferred method of storing user preferences? 2) When will we have the functionality? (approx ETA?) There seems to be a bunch of other functionality that's not complete at this point (eg gadgets.window.setTitle(), gadgets.window.adjustHeight() etc). Maybe a page is in order to avoid massive cross-posts and give us more 0.7 status info on a per item basis... even if it's just to say the functionality isn't there, it's better than not knowing. Thanks, -Dustin By the way, Jevs: you can also use gadgets.views.getCurrentView().getName(); to get the view. I think this is now the preferred way, but I could be wrong.
