Yes, this sounds fine. Just try to make sure your images are relevant and not obtrusive. If your updates are deemed spammy, the reviewer may ask you to change them slightly before giving your application the go- ahead. That said, using brand names and trademarks is not in violation of the guidelines, so I think you're fine.
