Hi, all,

My application is ready to start beta testing on Orkut. However, my beta
testers are non-technical people, and they are not confortable with
registering on (and always logging in) sandbox just to test my app - they
work as voluntaries and I don't want to impose them this extra burden.

So, I only have the option to submit my app to the application directory. If
I do so, any user will be able to add it, which is not a good idea because
the app is still being tested. The application was already changed to show a
message for users that are not registered as betatesters, asking them to
sign for testing if they want. So far, so good, the app will only be fully
enabled for users expecting a buggy app.

However, If I do this (submit the app to the directory now), could I add the
production version later, with a slightly different URL, after the beta
testing phase? Will it be allowed now, since it will contain a big "FOR
TESTING PURPOSES ONLY" warning on application directory description field?
Will it be allowed later, since the application name will be almost the
same? (I shall add "- beta version" to the test application name)

Thanks for any clarification!
