See Mark Carlson's question regarding consolidation. Assuming SFW (and not
SFWNV) we have:

I'm sponsoring this fast track case for Geir Green. The timer is set to
06/25/2008. This case is to integrate an open source package, psqlODBC
(ODBC driver for PostgreSQL), into OpenSolaris and Solaris.
It requests a patch level release binding.

2. Project Summary
2.1. Project Description:
psqlODBC is the official PostgreSQL ODBC Driver.
2.2. Risks and Assumptions:
It is assumed that porting psqlODBC to Solaris may cause
modifications
of the psqlODBC code so that it will run properly on the Solaris
platform. The modifications (if any) are expected to be minor.
The business risks associated with not providing psqlODBC for Solaris
is considered high, as we would provide a less complete environment
for
PostgreSQL on Solaris as compared to what the open source community
would expect.
3. Business Summary
3.1. Problem Area:
A customer who is writing software using ODBC to access a postgres
database on a Solaris platform will need psqlODBC.
3.2. Market/Requester:
Applications using ODBC API to access a database - these applications
can be ported to postgres database on a Solaris platform.
3.6. How will you know when you are done?:
When the psqlODBC(ODBC Driver) code together with unixODBC(ODBC
Driver
Manager) is integrated into the OpenSolaris SFW consolidation.
4. Technical Description:
4.1. Details:
psqlODBC is the official PostgreSQL ODBC Driver.
The psqlODBC project is a PostgreSQL Community project that is a
part
of the pgFoundry.
psqlODBC is released under the Library General Public License
(LGPL).
