If the case (not the code) is written by and submitted for a Sun employee then the copyright owner Sun Microsystems is correct and necessary. The copyright of the ARC case document has *nothing* to do with the copyright(s) of the source code (where relevant) of any code in the project. In fact very rarely does the ARC even care or ask about what the copyrights of a bit of code are - licenses maybe, patents maybe, tradmarks maybe (but only if they impact the architecture otherwise it is a problem for the C-Teams and Legal). So please do NOT remove the Sun copyright on this case as the case is copyright by Sun even though it is introducing a project from a 3rd party. Unless of course you have been told otherwise by Sun Legal in which case lets take this discussion inside Sun and resolve it at ARC chairs (or its current equivalent). -- Darren J Moffat
