I did note in my original reply that implementation usually isn't 
architecture.

However, in the long-run, shipping broken, approaching-useless software 
ought to raise architectural flags. If it's quite broke and we aren't 
going to fix it, it shouldn't be in Solaris.

That's just MHO though ;).
