In fact, Ralink wifi hardware has mainly 6 series: RT2500PCI, RT2500USB,
RT2501/2600PCI, RT2501/2601USB, RT2700/2800PCI, RT2700/2800USB.
Different hardware needs to download different firmware. And different
hardware has different operation. Linux and BSD also has different
driver for different Ralink hardware. Solaris rwd driver is ported from
BSD.
