Most of ON is not autoconfigured. The only exceptions I can think of
would likely be related to 3rd party software (perl?)
Certainly NetBSD has found solutions to this problem. :-)
I wouldn't mind putting some of the 3rd party software that depends on
such autoconfiguration out of ON. I tend to believe that we have a
bunch of stuff in ON, that probably should live in another
consolidation. (Again, perl comes to mind... though I'm sure others
have different, and perhaps equally, or more so, valid opinions.)
