but what about the PC-Cardbus cards that plug into PCMCIA slots?
I thought those, running in full 32bit mode, are significantly faster 
than 20mb/s ?
A Cardbus to CF adapter for the PCMCIA slot is a very good way to read in
camera CF modules.  Using carbus instead of pcmcia (but same 
slot/formfactor)
made a big speed difference for me.
