I'm not aware of any CardBus to CF adapters that are currently available 
for sale, only PCMCIA and Express Card. If it was no longer possible to 
buy PCMCIA-CF card adapaters, then I'd agree with you.

As I mentioned earlier, it is the form factor that makes this option 
attractive.
