Is there value in you doing that, Craig? I'd say: sure! :)

I think the first steps would be to research:

- What can lu(1m) do now?

- What can the Live Upgrade command line utils do now?

- What new features have been added to Live Upgrade which are
  not represented in lu(1m)?

- What's the right technology choice for the front end?
web based? gnome? java? CUI--(like zonecfg)?

- Can the GUI be a wrapper around running commands, or is that
  insufficient?

- What's the right "model" (think MVC) for the GUI. Is it
  the set of BE's?

Thanks,
