Hi all, On the onnv community page I read you'd like to hear about issues when compiling the onnv gate with Sun Studio 12, so here are my two cents.
Compiling onnv_74 went fine, after adding __SSNEXT=""; export __SSNEXT to my environmental file. The compile finished successfully, I bfu-ed the cpio archives, ran acr, rebooted and the system came back. JDS started, I could login all fine. What didn't work though were my services. I discovered Apache2 and MySQL weren't started. Starting Apache2 manually via the command /usr/apache2/bin/apachectl gave me a segmentation fault and a core dump. I have the coredump stored on my harddisk for the interested.
