Wow, that's really great. Thanks for your input, you got some valuable information there. My interest in this is that I use Studio 12 for a number of different projects and school assignments on my laptop - because of the IDE. I have a separate build machine (a P4 HT, 1gb RAM) for onnv, but wanted to be able to compile the kernel on my laptop too. I definitely don't read it as a complaint. Given the amount of effort you put into it, no one will.
