EVen stranger ... I've made no changes except ... now I've changed my session
back to gnome and viola, all of a sudden I have external connectivity?? That's
pretty messed up!! Anyone else see this or anything similar??? The only changes
that have been made after the initial build were switching from gnome to
xclient ... xclient to gnome? I spent hours trying to get gnome to allow me out
to the internet?? My hosts, defaultrouter, nodename, netstat -rn, ifconfig -a
... everything is exactly the same as I left it before switching to xlcient???
Frustrated and annoyed is about all I can use to describe myself right now ...
I'm afraid to shutdown ... I may never get back online.
