That part is what gets me interested. Till today all three attempts to
port Solaris to other architectures managed to handle their needs, but
none of them reached ON yet. Also there will be a non-trivial overlap
with Emerging Platforms community.

This would require a lot more thought. I think that should be the
subject of an entirely different discussion. (I do have some ideas;
basically I think changes to common code will have to be integrated into
ON, but the architecture specific build directories could be hosted
here, or in another repository. There are non-trivial matters to
resolve of course.)
