As he did not send a question (at least not a readable one), I thought
it was a good idea to tell him a possible reason why he does not get
the answer he expects.

I use a program that breaks the lines I write, why can't he do the same?

If he is using rotten software to write mails, he would need to know that
he needs to break lines manualy. People who have interest that other people
read their postings need to know that chosing the right form is the first
things to think of.

People who use a Browser to write mail need to set up the editing window 
to be wide enough (e.g. 130 chars) and then manually insert line breacks.
