i believe that part of it is an artifact of sparse cpuids on starcat; each of the 18 backplane slots get 32 cpuids assigned to it, and those are subdivided in various ways... it looks like macros to slice & dice the cpuid on starcat can be found at: http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/xref/usr/src/uts/sun4u/starcat/sys/starcat.h#82 the 558 is presumably 576 shrunk to the last cpuid actually used on the last expander board. - Bill _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
