The current TOU is broken. The new TOU is coming shortly. We are reviewing drafts right now, and the CAB will be involved with that process.

In the "Term of Use" of OpenSolaris Web site, it seems that all of contents in this web site can not be used for commercial use. Is it true ?

10.4
...... Permission is granted to display, copy, distribute and download Content owned by Sun on this Website provided that: ...... (b) the use of such Content is solely for personal and non-commercial use; .....

I think CDDL allows commercial use and every compay can use OpenSolaris source
code.
But other contents in this web site such as bug information, dtrace tools can
not
be used for commercial use. Is it true ?
If it's true, I think it does not meet OpenSolaris concept.
If it's not true, I think the statement should be removed.

Besides I've found the following strange statement in the "Term of Use".
Are there any "Confidential information" in this web site like land mines ? How do we know that ?

3.1 You may obtain direct access via the Website to certain confidential information of Sun and its suppliers, including without limitation technical, contractual, product, program, pricing, marketing and other valuable information that should reasonably be understood as confidential ("Confidential Information"). You must hold Confidential Information in strict confidence. Title to Confidential Information remains with Sun and its suppliers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
