As another note, whent the installer drops to command line i am able to mount
/cdrom manually using

mount -F hsfs /dev/dsk/c1t0d0p0 /cdrom

So i am wondering is there any way to add this command to grub to mount this
during boot as it seems not to be .... is this a bug ?

Cheers
Cass
