Does anyone have or know of a complete list of Fibre Channel HBAs that are supported on Solaris10 /X86? Looks like none of the common older (read: cheap) HBAs have support (Tachyon and QLA2100's), some of the Emulex do, I think some of the JNI's. A complete list would be useful. I can scrape a list together but something definative would be nice.

Solaris 10 x86 supports out of the box QLogic ISP2200 and ISP2312 based
cards (not sure about ISP2300, but they were obsolete by QLogic quite
quickly)

patch 119131-09 adds support for low-cost QLA200 as well as newer
ISP2422 and ISP2432 (which is PCI-Express !) based cards.

patch 120223-01 adds support for Emulex LighPulse card (not sure what
exact model is it). But you need to fetch a template package first
from http://www.sun.com/storage/san That card is hardly cheap, though.
Good patches to know about. Thanks.

Incidently, I looked again and QLogic does provide Solaris/X86 drivers for QLA2100, however they are in the Solaris/SPARC section, which is why I missed them before. However the drivers are for 2.6, 7, and 8. I haven't seen 2100 drivers for Solaris 9 or 10, and due to their age, probly never will.

JNI's (AMCC today) cards are supported on SPARC, AFAICT. I never saw any
support on x86.

I think also LSILogic has some drivers on their web site for their own
cards, but I am not sure.
Ya, there seems to be some scattered support for JNI (I refuse to say AMCC) and LSI but I haven't heard them tested.

Of course, just about everything works on SPARC.
