Real Media is our corporate standard for video production (which is a long thread all on its own I know). I'm sorry if it is a problem for some.
Fair enough, but could Sun please use a codec old enough so that those of us who use Solaris can actually watch them? Soem videos on Sun's site are viewable using older version of Real supported by Solaris, but some, unfortunately, are not. :-( 'Course, if Real released something modern for Solaris (SPARC & x86), we needn't be having this discussion. Hmm. Some Sun presentations use some sort of Java movie player. Why not get SUn to standardise on that? -- Rich Teer, SCNA, SCSA, OpenSolaris CAB member President, Rite Online Inc.
