Isn't that what Sun branded Solaris(tm) is all about? 
OpenSolaris is about doing your own thing, tweaking that one thing
that's bugged you for years.  Consistency in distros could possibly be a
laudable goal, but I certainly don't expect it, nor do I personally want
it.  Sun really like Burger King these days, and with these new distros
coming out, we've got the salad bar from hell to go with it, one with
lots of goodies and ideas to choose from.  I can have it my way. Once
we've got bootable CF, that is :)
