It's worth noting that lucreatezone is intimately tied to the Solaris and SVR4 packaging/install/upgrade scheme. Any distribution would need to come up with a replacement specific to their package management system. We plan to release the code to lucreatezone along with the rest of the admin/install tools, but it would be of no benefit to Nexenta (I don't know enough about the other distros to say anything for sure). Note that in the BrandX (BrandZ?) gate, the zone configuration file has been split out into an XML file, so in the future it will be possible to change this install program without needing to recompile zoneadm and friends. - Eric -- Eric Schrock, Solaris Kernel Development http://blogs.sun.com/eschrock _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
