If there are two ways to go. One is OpenSource and the other is not, then
it seems to be obvious that the non OSS solution os incompatible with an OSS
platform like OpenSolaris.
If you add optional software you may do what you like, but ksh is not
optional for OpenSolaris. Using closed source for non-optional code looks
like ging the incompatible way.
