My dual Opteron system running snv_27 occasionally gets into a state where processor utilization goes to 100% on one processor for a second or two and then drops back to zero, and then the whole cycle repeats on the other processor. The system is not doing anything processor-intensive when this happens--it's just sitting at the JDS screen.
