Yeah, I completely agree but a DVD with *3* distributions sounds like an amazingly confusing message to me, other than 'choice is good'. I wonder if Linux Format would be interested in doing a series of articles, over the next year [1 every 4 months or something?] where we get to look at the various derivative distributions - and maybe focus in one one or two of the key technologies that bind them all together eg. DTrace, Zones, SMF, ... Hell, better still, anyone actually think about filling up the DVD with tutorials and guides for how to get involved in OpenSolaris and the various communities? Being able to grow the community through these sort of things would be useful.
