That's how WIndows works too, if you don't get it preinstalled. Only two of the 6 need a ethernet driver from a 3rd source; and one was just available from the motherboard vendor, so that leaves just one which needed a ethernet driver from some other place. >With regard to the video driver issue, ATI has written a script to >replace the mesa driver with th eir proprietary fglxr driver.
