I am working right now on VMWare Workstation 5.5 on RHEL AS 64-bit.

The system is an IBM e325 server with dual AMD248 Opterons and not
nearly enough RAM. Only 1Gb.

But it is enough to fire up VMWare Workstation 5.5 and try to work
with a single machine at a time.

What really irks me is that there is no support for 64-bit hardware
even though the host OS is 64-bit.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ uname -a
Linux mercury 2.6.9-22.ELsmp #1 SMP Mon Sep 19 18:00:54 EDT 2005
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am using VMWare WorkStation 5.5.0 build-18463

For SchilliX 0.5.1 I can select a custom virtual machine but not
64-bit. I can not select 64-bit for Solaris either. In either case I
get a warning in the dialog box that says "64-bit guest operating
systems are not supported by this host and will not run."

Very perplexing.
