I'm running b38 on 5.5.1 build 19175 under XP host with no
network performance issues... large FTPs and the like are
just fine so far. I'm using NAT, but have seen some issues
with some smart switches when using "bridged" networking
in previous builds.

I once heard that Lewis's (department store) in Glasgow used to employ
a "scapegoat". If a customer complained about anything, the department's
