Did you install the vmware utilities? I was informed me a few weeks back that they don't support the GA release of Solaris 10, only update 1. Also, there is a nasty Solaris kernel bug that has some rather severe performance impacts on busy virtual machines. If you want the VMWare case number that describes the performance problem, ping me off list. I will get our VMWare SE to forward you the info.
