Bureaucracy, paperwork, and no (as far as they are concerned) reward worth the effort. Just like it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that Adobe hasn't released an Intel Mac version of CS2. No sense whatsoever.
Submitting forum posts will probably do nothing. Calling them (reasonably) in mass, might make a difference. I doubt it though.
