I've got a wierd problem trying to install SXCR build 40 on my spare PC. I get
the following messages on boot, just after "Configuring devices...":
WARNING: /[EMAIL PROTECTED],0/[EMAIL PROTECTED],1/[EMAIL PROTECTED] (ata1):
timeout: abort request, target=0 lun-0
WARNING: <as above>
timeout: abort device, ....
WARNING: <as above>
timeout: reset target, ....
WARNING: <as above>
timeout: reset bus, ....
I'm guessing my CD drive is the problem, since I get similar errors booting
linux LiveCDs, but they all seem happy to recover. I've got an Asus A7V133
motherboard with a Via VT82C686B south bridge, and an AOpen (as in "we've not
knicked the design from Asus, honest ;-) CD-RW drive which I'm attempting to
boot the SXCR build 40 CD on. I've also tried with build 36 and I get the same
errors, no matter what type of media I burn the iso image onto. Any ideas?
