Easy to see my previous comments just go to the opensolaris.org website
and click on the discussions. I didn't want gcc removed I was talking
about upgrading the old rev. But as James said it has nothing
to do with the opensolaris distribution. I did however suggest
moving the gnu compiler to the compainion cd which could be
available from the opensolaris distribution site but James
pointed out that there is no companion cd. But than again
having the studio compiler as part of the standard opensolaris
should solve that.

Haven't really compared the packaging or build
process of Nexenta.
