Wait a second...for Marc's needs, Solaris is a better Linux than Linux, and he points out why. I don't believe that Solaris is a better Linux than Linux, overall, but that is my own personal belief. I do believe that Solaris is a better Solaris, and that Linux is a better Linux, but that doesn't mean much, and again...my personal opinion. What Marc Andreesen pointed out was that Solaris can be lower cost, and it can perform better, and it is now open so that all can see the sources and fix problems as they arise, or contribute back to the code base. This is why Solaris is a better Linux than Linux for Ning.
