What I don't understand:
cdrecord is much older so any person who writes CDs needed to understand
how cdrecord works anyway.
The cdrw CLI is really non-intuitive and as Alan pointed out, cdrw by default
behaved incorrect and needs the -C option in order to become usable.
Why do people like the strange CLI from cdrw?
