Hi Joerg,

There are a few methods to provide feedback to the product team:

1. Sun Developer Service Plans/Sun Support Services Plans ($$)

   developers.sun.com/services

This offers the official bug escalation process.

2. Bug Submittal (free)

   http://bugs.sun.com

Report a bug.  The team will see it, but it will not necessarily be escalated for a priority fix.

In addition, there are a few additional mechanisms for support:

3. Sun Developer Expert Assistance ($)

   http://developers.sun.com/services/expertassistance/

Incident level support- help review flags, etc.

4. Sun Studio forums (free)

   http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/cc/community/

Community forums.

Of courses, in all cases, it is helpful to have example code, makefile, etc. to help illustrate the issue.

I hope this helps!

Last weekend, I installed the S11 compiler needed for the current
OpenSolaris builds.

I did compile my own software and did run some performance tests.
The S11 compiler gives 10% less performance than the S10
compiler if I compile my Reed Solomon coder with S11.

When createing 64 bit code, for the same code, I get 30% less
performance than with 64 bit code created by gcc.

I believe this is somthing that should be fixed, but how do
I get the right people? BTW: I did already send a similar feedback
(but only related to the 64 bit code) using the official way
for the Solaris compiler beta program for Studio 10.
