I have an interesting discovery about the libxml2 tool.

After learning someone added the latest version of linxml2 (2.6.26) packages to
Sunfreeware, I decided to uninstall the original compiled libxml2
(libxml2-2.6.23) and then installed the new libxml2-2.6.26 package for
x86/Solaris 10 from sunfreeware on my AMD x86 computer.

Then I attempted to compile php5, but the same problem came back. I tried other
avenues to make it work, but it didn't help, so I removed the package again and
re-compiled the same source code from the source browser and it worked.

It has become clear that the libxml2 code may be dependent on specific hardware
(motherboard). Mine is AMD 1GHz, made in 2001. I suspect the working package
from sunfreeware may be compiled specifically for another platform probably an
Intel machine?

It looks like some supporting software tools may have to be compiled to fit for
the right platform.
