I hope this is not true.
- The GPLv3 is not yet a finished license and it would first need to
get an OSI aproval.
- Dual licensing causes more problems than it helps (see OpenOffice).
- GPL licensing may cause the good relations between OpenSolaris and
*BSD to become a problem.
Blindly trying to follow Linux is not the right way to deal with the challenge.
OpenSolaris has a lot of advantages that will hit in the future. It does not
make sense to try to hurry with this...
Rest assured that if such a decision were to happen, it wouldn't be due
to "blindly trying to follow Linux".
