That is because they are all out fishing with me on the California
coastline. Tonight we are having:

Filet Mignon smoked with plumb wood on a salt bed.
Ling Cod brazed with butter and a touch of garlic.
The sauce to drizzle on both is a reduce port wine or Sangovsia (whole bottle)
with 1 cup Modavian vinager, 2 Ts sugar, 1ts salt. 1Ts thyme.
  cracked pepper for enhancement.
Takes 2hrs to reduce to syrup. Works both on the Cod and Mignon.

The vegi is a butternut squash cut into 2x2inch chunks. In a iron
skillet put about a 1/4inch virgin olive oil. Half a yellow onion
diced fine. Brown the onion in the olive oil. Add Tbs brown
sugar and a pinch of salt. Brown the squash chunks for about
10 min turning them over once in a while. Put the squash
chunks in a glass pan and cover them with white alfredo sauce.
Cracked pepper for enhancement. In the oven 350 for about 30min.

Dessert is a scoop of Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream with finely powered
pistachio dust drizzled with a reduced brown rum sauce.

Ah crap wrong mailing list. Forget it.
