Firstly my own preference would be to retain some sort of CD-based install method. Whether that's a single install CD plus fetching the rest from a remote machine, or the full install on multiple CDs I'm not sure. I definitely think that you should leave the option to start an install from a CD in place.

Also, please can Sun ditch the utterly dreadful, Windows only "FEAD Optimizer" for the Solaris 10 downloads? I tried using it for the S10 U3 isos and it took a whole hour longer to assemble the DVD due to the glacial paced de-compression. What was wrong with zip??? You even get CRC checks built in so the person expanding the file can check that they've not just downloaded 3 gig of garbage. Cheers Andrew.
