Sorry for the broad distribution, but I wanted to give the most people
the opportunity to comment and participate. Teresa and I applied for,
and were granted, an OpenSolaris track during JavaOne. The track will
take place on Monday May 7th (the day before JavaOne officially begins)
at the Argent Hotel in San Francisco.
We have 4 sessions that we need to fill. I would like to open the floor
for anyone interested in submitting a session. Please use the marketing
alias (opensolaris dash mktg at opensolaris dot org). Once submissions
are in, we can discuss over there which ones we should do.
Keep in mind that the JavaOne audience may not be familiar with
OpenSolaris, so introductory or novice sessions are welcome.
Since this was a last minute addition, so we don't have a lot of time.
We need to submit abstracts by Tues March 13 (max word count 250). We'll
have to have selected sessions by Monday to make this deadline.
