Over the years, Linux, of over several hundred flavors to say the least, has collected a tremendous amount of user experience, as well as a tremendous amount experience of how to deal with users. Remember the first Star Trek movie, the starship Voyager, or "V-J"? Solaris seems to be in a perfect position to provide the captain it needs. We'll see. but a very exciting development.
